By Title
By Keywords (college, high school, dogs, long hair, enemies to lovers, martial arts etc)
*you can try: Guy who is afraid of dogs
but that won't always work so it may be better to use: dogs, (then let the list generate, then add) afraid
There is a code for the database to make your search pull more of what you want specifically.
This is an example of a product code: G
First part of the code reflects the rating system
G = General audience
Mild violence, no guns, no sex, mild touching
T = Teens
no drugs, no alcohol, no sex,
YA= Young Adults
implied sex, political or social subject matter
M = Mature
Made for adults
Second part of the code reflects the type
B = (Boys-males) Story centers around a mostly male cast
BL = Males confessing (verbal) love for another male
BF= Males flirting but not confessing
G=(Girls-females)
GS=Body switching or female main character
GB = Male focusing on a female-falls for a guy
FS= Fan service
Pretty males , posing, modeling, but not a love story
Y = Yaoi (sex, can be implied or depicted)
YBL= love story containing sex
Y+ = Mostly sex, multiple pairings, little or no fluffy stuff
(not porn, but not affectionate style behavior)
PL=Pure Love (beyond sex, 'die for you' type of love story)
(these generally have no sex scenes)
If there is a dash (-) that means there is a clarifier for a code.
Clarifiers:
S= Science Fiction
F = Fantasy
Y= Yaoi-verse (world of men, unrealistic responses to gay)
O= Other worldly (still earth but unreal setting, time etc)
R = Reality based
